Privacy Policy

This policy covers WarrenTEK’s Concierge apps on the Apple App Store (and later Google Play, if listed). It does not cover client MSP work or other WarrenTEK websites except where those sites host this same text.

1. Who we are

WarrenTEK Enterprises, LLC operates the apps named below. We do not sell personal data. We do not run ads in these apps. We do not use advertising pixels or third-party analytics SDKs in the current Concierge binaries.

2. What the apps access

Access is limited to what you grant in iOS/macOS Settings and what you do in the app.

Scan Concierge (iPhone / iPad)

  • Camera — to scan documents.
  • Photo Library (add only) — if you choose the Photos destination.
  • Contacts — if you choose “Save as Contact” for a business card. The app does not read your full address book unless you save a card.
  • Files / iCloud folder you pick — Local destination and optional Obsidian vault folder. The app writes only into folders you select.
  • Optional network destination — if you turn on an ingest URL in Settings, the scan is sent to the URL you enter, over HTTPS, with a token you store in Keychain on this device. WarrenTEK does not receive that scan unless you pointed the URL at a WarrenTEK host.

On-device OCR uses Apple Vision. Optional handwriting/vision help uses a key you provide. We do not require a WarrenTEK account for Photos, Local, Files, or Save as Contact. Product details: Scan Concierge privacy.

Contact Concierge (Mac, later iOS)

  • Contacts (Address Book) — to find duplicates and merge cards you review.
  • Contact Notes — only if Apple grants Contact Notes Field Access. Notes are read and written on this device for merge preview, combined cards, and local backups. Notes are not uploaded to WarrenTEK.
  • User-selected backup folder — vCard / archive files you save.

Contact Concierge does not send your contacts to WarrenTEK servers. Product details: Contact Concierge privacy.

3. What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
  • We do not scrape Contact Notes off-device.
  • We do not hide a WarrenTEK server as a required backend. Any server URL is user-configured.
  • App Store builds do not include AppleScript automation of Contacts.app or Notes.app.

4. Storage and security

  • Data you keep in Contacts, Photos, Files, or Obsidian stays in Apple’s platforms under your Apple ID.
  • Optional ingest uses HTTPS. Retention on a self-hosted destination is that server’s policy.
  • Ingest tokens on iOS use the device Keychain. Deleting the app usually deletes the token.

5. Retention

We do not operate a WarrenTEK cloud account for these apps in store v1. You can delete scans and contacts using Photos, Files, Contacts, and the app’s own tools.

6. Children

These apps are not directed at children under 13.

7. Your rights

You may deny or revoke Camera, Photos, Contacts, and Files access in Settings. Questions or deletion help: info@warrentek.com.
